NETP16 and Equity
The 2016 National Education Technology Plan (NETP16) is the flagship educational technology policy document for the United States. The 2016 Plan articulates a vision of equity, active use, and collaborative leadership to make everywhere, all-the-time learning possible. It is based on years of work, research, and experience from our nation's leading schools, teachers, researchers, and education professionals. In this panel discussion, attendees and facilitators will learn about examples of the transformation enabled by the effective use of technology, and will discuss the immediate implications of the NETP and how we can carry this message back to our districts.
I sat on the panel with
Derrick Brown, CIO Evergreen Public Schools
Carla Wade, Ed. Specialist ODE
Jeremy Macdonald, Director of Technology & Innovation, Redmond School District

I presented on two topics at this education technology conference. Feel free to use and modify either of these two presentations if they will work for something you need to teach. One was done in HaikuDeck and the other in Prezi.
