Weight Watchers starts at my school on Friday, October 1st. I will have to get up early because the meetings are at 7:30 and I don't usually get to work until 8. I am planning on using the accountability that is built into Weight Watchers (WW) to help me achieve my goal of weighing less than 200 pounds. I was listening to a fitness podcast this morning and the Get Fit Guy talked about blogging to help with fitness and weight loss goals. Sounded like a good idea so I have started.
I plan to keep track of my food this week with an app on my phone that counts calories and sets targets for weight loss. My target for each day is 2,000 calories. If I do that, according to the app, I will lose 1-2 pounds per week. I am not going to weigh myself this week since I will be weighed on Friday but I think it is a good start and will get me ready for the shock of WW points.
